The Emmy Awards 2021 will take place this Sunday, September 19 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States. The ceremony will reward the best of television between June 2020 and May 2021.

The Academy of Television Arts and Sciences will be in charge of choosing the winners of the 73rd edition of the event. The host of the ceremony will be the renowned American comedian Cedric Antonio Kyles, better known as Cedric the Entertainer.

Emmys 2021: schedule to see the event

The awards will begin at 8:00 pm (Eastern time), which translates to 7:00 pm in Peru.

  • USA: 8:00 pm (Eastern Time) 5:00 pm (Pacific Time)
  • Peru, Colombia and Mexico: 7:00 p.m.
  • Chile and Argentina: 9:00 p.m.
  • Venezuela: 8:00 p.m.
  • Spain: 2 am on September 20

Where to see the gala?

The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS in the United States. While, in Latin American countries, the event can be seen through TNT and TNT Series.

The nominees

Streaming platforms have become very important at the 73rd edition of the Emmy Awards. Thus, HBO has 130 nominations, followed by Netflix with 129. In addition, the series with the most nominations at this ceremony are Netflix’s “The Crown” and Disney + “The Mandalorian”, with 24 each.

It should be noted that during the last weekend ceremonies have been held to reward the technical categories.
