“It’s what I regret the most in my life”: Quentin Tarantino’s response to the harsh remarks of actress Uma Thurman

Tarantino and Thurman had been friends for more than 20 years.

“I am guilty, for having placed her in that car, but not because of what people are saying that I am guilty,” Quentin Tarantino said Tuesday responding to accusations by actress Uma Thurman that she put her life at risk during the filming of one of his movies.

The Pulp Fiction director told the website Deadline Hollywood than allowing Thurman to perform a stunt scene in a car that crashed during the filming of Kill Bill in 2003 “is what he most regrets” in his life.

Tarantino’s statements come after the actress acusara al director of having “mistreated” her during the filming of the movie.

Tarantino told Deadline that no one on the film crew that day considered that driving the car could be dangerous.
