Met Gala Red Carpet Celebs Become Superheroes and Villains in BossLogic Art

Artist BossLogic turns Lil Nas X, Grimes, Kim Kardashian, Lupita Nyong’o and Jennifer Lopez into superheroes and villains for the Met Gala.

While fans were tuning into the Met Gala to see fashion statements, artist BossLogic was busy turning celebrities on the red carpet into superheroes and villains.

The first celebrity to get a BossLogic makeover was Lil Nas X.  “The #MetGala is back so it’s that time again!” BossLogic wrote on Twitter. “First off, @lilnasx I went all 1984 WW” The illustration depicts the Grammy award-winning artist in the golden armor Gal Gadot wore in Wonder Woman 1984, complete with the Lasso of Truth wrapped around his hand.

Our second celebrity was Grimes, who was rocking a gown with a facemask and sword on the red carpet. The look invoked similarities to the Mortal Kombat character Smoke for her outfit’s gray-and-white color scheme. The facemask also looks like something a fighter in Mortal Kombat would wear. BossLogic’s rendition of Grimes was complete with smoke radiating off the body.

Kim Kardashian showed up at the Met Gala in an all-black cloth that completely covered her entire body, including her head and face. The only part of her body allowed to come through the ensemble was her long hair. Once BossLogic saw Kardashian’s choice in clothing, he immediately turned her into Batman Beyond. Kardashian’s DC hero is featured standing on a ledge as she surveys the future of the DC Universe.

Lupita Nyong’o is already a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, starring as Nakia in 2018’s Black Panther and the upcoming Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. However, BossLogic has taken it upon himself to cast Nyong’o as the X-Man Storm. With Disney acquiring Fox and the X-Men franchise destined to be fully integrated into the MCU at some point in the future, fans will surely find out who will portray Storm in the next iteration of X-Men films.

Last but not least is Jennifer Lopez as the Resident Evil Village character Lady Dimitrescu. Lopez can be seen with the hat and long sharp nails of Lady Dimitrescu, as she’s surrounded by mist. Also of note are her glowing yellow eyes and fur coat wrapped around her shoulder.
