I share in The Photos of the Readers of La Vanguardia this photographic report on the Clodplay group recording in the old swimming pools of Castellnou, in Rubí.
Coldplay was making a recording this Thursday using these facilities as a set.
There was a lot of security to make taking pictures difficult. But, after walking around the area a few times, I found a place from which I managed to take some photos of the singer and the guitarist.
In the photos you can see above all the recording work that was being carried out with a large amount of equipment and that included, among others, a large crane and drones.
Coldplay is a British pop rock and alternative rock band formed in London in 1996. It is made up of Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion.
It was one of the most relevant groups of the 2000s and early 2010s.
The band’s fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends (2008) was produced by Brian Eno and, apart from generating rave reviews, was the best-seller of that year.
On April 29, 2021, Coldplay announced the release of a new single called Higher Power, which was released on May 7, 2021 with a live video that coincided with the release of the single that was broadcast from the International Space Station.
