Chris Pratt is at the moment one of the most wanted male actors in Hollywood. Over recent years he has played a prominent role in a number of big box office Hollywood movies including Amazon’s recent audience hit The Tomorrow War. His early career showed why he had the potential to become a huge star with his role as Andy Dwyer in the hit NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation alongside less-known work such as Everwood, Movie 43 and Delivery Man.
But what are our favourite movies from the talented and versatile actor so far?
Here’s our list:
Guardians Of The Galaxy

Not even a hardcore online casino player would have placed his bet on Chris Pratt taking the lead in a Marvel movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy is part of the amazing Marvel saga. It was released in 2014, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures. Guardians of the Galaxy is the 10th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Chris Pratt plays a character named Peter Quill. He gets abducted from Earth by alien smugglers, The Ravagers. Time goes by and 26 years later, all grown up, he steals an orb. He manages to escape the planet, moving then to Xandar. Here he, after many incidents, meets Rocket, Groot, Gamora and Drax. And so the intergalactic adventure can begin!
Chris Pratt as Peter Quill is simply phenomenal. He manages to captivate the character in a way that we don’t think anyone else could have done. It’s like he was made for the role! He is funny, tough and also very human all in one package, and shows the world why he definitely has earned his place as one of the most popular male actors of our time.
Jurassic World is the fourth instalment in the Jurassic Park franchise. The last two films were not that successful, so it was definitely a risk to go ahead and create a new movie. As huge Jurassic Park fans we weren’t sure of what to expect: in 2015 Chris Pratt had not yet made other major roles in blockbuster movies (other than Guardians of the Galaxy), and, even though we like the guy, were hesitant about how he would fit the Jurassic World franchise.
When the movie was released, all our hesitations got thrown away from the moment Chris Pratt entered the screen. His character, Owen Grady, is a former Navy veteran and now an ethologist, who has been training Velociraptors. When things take a wrong turn, Owen ends up searching for two boys that are wondering around the park on their own
Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2
In 2017 all Marvel fans were yet again treated, as Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 was released. Fans around the world were thrilled to see the characters from the first movie getting together again, this time for a completely different adventure.
This time Peter Quill, Drax, Rocket, Baby Groot and Gamora are getting into trouble again, and eventually ending up on a strange planet with Ego, a god-like celestial. Once again, there are exciting twists and turns, just like in the first movie.
Chris Pratt’s character is now more familiar to the audience and we have learned to love him like one of our own. It is sometimes excruciating to watch what his character faces, but one thing’s for sure: a junk load of entertainment is at the table, again.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
The exact same thing happened with Chris Pratt’s character in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom as it did in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. We already know what we are going to get: Owen seems familiar, we have seen his journey in the previous movie and now we need to witness him going at it again.
There’s something bittersweet to these sequels: on the other hand we do not want to see the characters in trouble and at the same time we love the drama of the situation when it happens.
Avengers: Endgame is probably one the best movies in history. Of course, if you are not a Marvel fan, you might disagree on this one. If you aren’t a Marvel fan, we strongly advise you to forget your prejudice and give it a chance. In all fairness, our beloved Chris Pratt does not have a very big part in this production, but at the same time his character plays a huge part in the outcome of the entire movie.
